SKU: TH2074
SHT-30 Mesh-Protected Weatherproof Temperature/Humidity Sensor is built for outdoor monitoring projects where you need reliable ambient readings without leaving the sensing element exposed. It uses a Sensirion SHT-30 digital sensor housed inside a sintered metal mesh enclosure that helps block water ingress while still allowing air to circulate for humidity measurement.
This makes it a practical choice for exterior weather stations, environmental logging, greenhouse monitoring, and other maker or IoT projects that need temperature and humidity sensing in real-world conditions. The sensor body is weatherproof and can tolerate temporary submersion, but it is best used for outdoor exposure rather than long-term underwater operation.
Important: if the sensor is submerged, it will only provide temperature readings. Long-term submersion of more than 1 hour at a time is not recommended. Since it uses a true I2C interface, any existing SHT-3x microcontroller library should work with it.
